Auto-update

When a new version is available, a small indicator appears on the settings icon in the sidebar. Click it for release notes and a "Restart to install" action.

• Click the settings icon (indicator dot) in the sidebar
• Use "Check for updates" or read the current status
• After download, click "Restart to install"

Manual Check

Hit "Check for updates" at any time — errors are reported inline.

Where Data Lives

Tasks, King sessions, issues, memos, and screenshots all live in a local SQLite database. Nothing leaves the machine apart from license verification.

• Location: ~/Library/Application Support/KingCoding/data
• Contents: SQLite DB plus screenshot files
• Migrating Macs? Copy this directory wholesale

Logs and Troubleshooting

Logs sit in the same directory. Including the relevant ones when contacting support speeds up triage.
