Discord

Kick off tasks from a Discord channel and receive progress and completion there.

What you need

• Bot Token: the token of a bot created in the Discord Developer Portal
• Channel ID: the channel where you want to work
• User ID: your Discord user ID, to authorize you
• Default project (optional): where Discord-triggered tasks land

Setup

1. 1

   Create a bot

   Make an Application and Bot in the Developer Portal, then copy the token.

2. 2

   Invite to your server

   Grant Messages and Slash Commands scopes, then invite the bot into the server.

3. 3

   Register in the app

   Settings → King Mode → Discord. Fill in token, channel ID, user ID, and connect.
