Notifications
Sound, macOS, and browser notifications keep you in the loop on tasks and AI prompts.
Types of Notification
- Sound — a short tone when an action is needed
- macOS — system notifications even when the app isn't focused
- Browser — Web Push when you're connected via Tailscale
Sound
Plays when the AI needs a reply or confirmation. Toggle it off under Settings → General if it's distracting.
macOS Native Notifications
- Turn on "Mac app notifications" in Settings → General
- Allow the permission prompt from macOS
- Status changes (completed, awaiting reply, etc.) land in Notification Center
Browser Notifications
When you reach KingCoding through Tailscale Private Access, Web Push notifications can land in the browser. Handy when you're on the move.
- Settings → General → Browser notifications, enable this device
- Allow the browser permission prompt
- Use "Send test notification" to confirm delivery
Discord Notifications
With Discord integration enabled, progress and completion messages also land in Discord — perfect for catching them on your phone.
